NC SW5550 Swivel Skip Site Dumper

The NC SW5550 is a proven 5-tonne site dumper built for high productivity and longevity. Designed and manufactured in Northern Ireland, it combines heavy-duty construction with modern hydrostatic drive technology. Power and Drive

A powerful Doosan D24 Stage V diesel engine provides 55.4 kW of output. This drives a switchable twin-mode hydrostatic CVT system with permanent 4WD, ensuring smooth operation and excellent traction on demanding job sites. The machine can reach a maximum travel speed of 25 km/h.

Versatility and Strength

The SW5550 features a 180° power swivel skip that ensures precise load placement and safe dumping in confined areas. Built for durability, the skip is constructed from fully welded Hardox® steel. With a 5-tonne payload capacity and a heaped volume of 2,633 litres, this dumper handles heavy materials with ease.

Safety and Operator Features

Safety and ergonomics are key components of the SW5550. It comes equipped with hydraulic parking brakes (SAHR), an inclinometer, a forward camera with a 7” LCD monitor, and folding ROPS/FOPS protection. Operators also benefit from a sealed IP67 LCD display
and Nitrotec-coated pivot pins for long-life performance and easier maintenance.
