Designed and made in the USA from military-grade steel, the Scag SFC-30 is right at home in the New Zealand mowing contractor's arsenal. It is the ideal 'bridge' mower between push mower and ride on - easily getting into tight areas, yet boasting impressive efficiency even in long, thick grass.
Catch, Mulch or Discharge with ease
You can quickly and easily switch between catching, mulching and side discharge with all baffles included, making it the ideal addition to your mowing fleet.
Military-grade steel deck and frame
Extra-strong fabricated (non-stamped) steel cutter deck features 14-gauge, grade 100 Military-Grade steel deck shell, 12-gauge spindle reinforcement plate and ¼” side reinforcement bar, all while delivering the quality-of-cut you’d expect from a Scag mower. The frame is also 200% stronger than standard drawing steel found in common stamped frames and decks in this machine class.
Swivel wheel option
The SFC is also available with swivel front caster wheels for easier maneouvering. This is available as standard on the SFC-30S, or as an upgrade kit* for standard SFC-30 models.
Powerful Kohler engine & GT Transmission
The Scag SFC-30 features the General Transmission MV702 best-in-class transmission, providing smooth power and a long service life. With the infinitely variable drive you can find your preferred speed up to 6.4 km/h - highly productive.
The mower is powered by the commercial grade Kohler CV224 engine - providing optimum performance in the toughest of cutting conditions.
Simplified Deck Design
This more robust system results in potential belt replacements taking less than half the amount of time to repair/replace compared to timed deck systems.
SINGLE POINT HEIGHT OF CUT ADJUSTMENT - rather than at all four corners or having to adjust the front and back tires separately. Cut heights from 1.5” to 5” in .25” increments.
SIMPLIFIED DECK DRIVE SYSTEM - An offset blade design is less complex and easier to maintain than traditional timed deck setups.
ERGONOMIC CONTROLS - Angles of operator station controls match the natural angles of your outstretched hands. All controls are within easy reach: blade brake engagement, drive engagement, recoil start, throttle/choke, hour meter and park brake.
