Technical Specs
The Scag Jackal is a stand-on mini skid steer designed for contractors who need loader capability without the footprint of a full-size machine. Powered by an 18.6kW Kubota® D1305-E4B diesel engine, this 510kg lift capacity, 1.43 tonne tip capacity unit is built to handle landscaping, site clearance, and material-handling work in spaces a standard skid steer can't access.
Key Benefits
High Lift and Dump Point
With a 510kg lift capacity, 1.43 tonne tip capacity, and a 2,108mm hinge pin height, the Jackal reaches comfortably into skips, dumpsters and truck beds. An auxiliary hydraulic flow of 57 L/min at 207 bar gives it the flow and pressure to run a wide range of attachments.
Military-Grade Bucket
Fitted as standard with an 864mm or 1,016mm wide bucket, with shells made from Grade 100 military-grade steel for durability under repeated loading of rock, rubble, and other hard fill.
Stable and Manoeuvrable
An ultra-low centre of gravity, narrow stance, and short wheelbase help keep the Jackal stable and controllable, making it easier to work in confined or uneven sites where larger loaders struggle to manoeuvre.
Sure-Footed Traction
Available with 178mm or 229mm track widths, both delivering low ground pressure for consistent traction across soft, wet, or uneven ground. Tracks can be changed over between narrow and wide configurations to suit the conditions on site.
45.4L Fuel Capacity
Dual 22.7L fuel tanks, each with a large filler neck and fuel gauge, are backed by a productive ground speed of up to 6.4 km/h.
Operator Comfort
A spacious operator platform with suspension and padded cushions is designed to reduce fatigue over a full shift, with ergonomic joystick controls for drive and bucket functions for straightforward operation.
Easy Access for Servicing
Removable cushion panels provide quick access to maintenance and service areas, keeping routine upkeep simple and minimising time off the job.
OUTFITTED WITH PERFORMANCE - 34" or 40" wide buckets with the shells made from Grade 100 Military -grade steel.
READY TO ROLL - Available with 7" or 9" tracks with an easy change over capability between the two.
VERSATILE CAPABILITIES HELPING GET THE JOB DONE - Featuring a 510kg lift capacity and 1.43 tonne tip capacity, the Jackal has a 83” hinge pin height that delivers a high lift and dump point to help you reach where you need to.
